About Shawn Putnam |
Shawn “The Love Sponge” Putnam was born in Newcastle, Pennsylvania on May 30, 1971. Putnam finally got serious about the sport of pool at the age of seventeen. Although he participated in his first professional tournament at nineteen, Shawn feels he really became professional in 1999.
The Love Sponge was a six-time consecutive Viking Tour Player of the Year, and has won the Pittsburgh Open and the Valley Forge Players Championship, making him one of the only competitors to ever win back to back professional events. |

About Johnny Archer |
Johnny “The Scorpion” Archer began his pool career at the age of twelve in the small town of Twin City, Georgia. After conquering the challenges of Ms. Pacman in a local convenient store, this lad took an interest in the pool tables. At the age of seventeen, The Scorpion joined his first Pro Tour and won his first Pro Tournament in Columbia, South Carolina in 1985.
Upon touring the US, Johnny accomplished his first win in the Atlanta Open at Wagon Wheel Willie’s. He then went on to win four World Championships in 1992, 1993, 1995 and 1997. By the end of the decade, The Scorpion had won his first US Open 9-Ball Championship.
In his career, he has been awarded nine Player of the Year Awards, received Player of the Decade in the 1990’s, and has won the Simonis Power Index Points for three consecutive years in a row since 2002. |

About Kim Davenport |
Kim “Kimmer” Davenport was born on November 15, 1955 in Oklahoma, and picked up his first pool cue at the age of ten. After much dedication, Kimmer became a professional pool player in 1985, and went on to win the McDermott Masters in 1989. In 1990 and 1997 Kimmer conquered the Sands Regency, and in 1994 was the Pro Tour Champion.
This 1990 Player of the Year was the originator of Target Pool, and was responsible for making his sport popular in his hometown of Modesto. He now lives with his wife, Aida in Marietta, Ga. |
